UN ..a blank hope.

The bitter truth is the world after all its civilisations...
is still immature..
ignorant and in this case i would say illiterate...
not in the case of conventional education system...
but in drawing a thin line between the
just and unjust...
truth and false...
reason and insanity..

It's absolutely dismaying..
to actually realise that,
the UN Human Rights Council is not an exception....,
(a council held by 47 seats elected every three years,
to defend and speak for the rights of the powerless....),

when its suppose to condemn and ask explanation for indiscriminate shelling..
bombing in no fire zone.. use of heavy artilleries such as cluster bombs, carpet bombs
on civilians .. ,
the council praised the governments effort
describing it as an act of abolishing terrorism..
and bringing peace..

when it acknowledged the commitment of the government to provide access as may be appropriate to humanitarian agencies..,
but never asked to explain why even the Red Cross was not allowed,
even after the end of war, as there were report of heavy casualties,
with tremendous shortage of medical supports.

when it acknowledged the government's claim
on LTTE killing the Tamil MP's during 1990's..,
whereas the government itself has hidden the fact that...
the Sri Lankan Army has been accused for at least killings of 5 MP's..

Arent they aware that...
the mere explanations of Sri Lankan Government ,
and few visits from the UN to the refugee's camps
are not capable and insufficient to unveil the truth
behind the barbed wires and restricted camps...

Arent they aware that...
letting the Tamils at the mercy of the Sri Lankan government forces,
a force that they had feared for so long for assault and brutality,
a force that led 115 massacres on Tamils from 1956 - 2000,
will cause more harm and disharmony...

Arent they aware that,
the whole Tamil Diaspora and all international humanitarian NGO's
had adjudged and condemned the act of Sri Lanka,
that acknowledging Sri Lanka will cause it to
loose its credibility as an world organisation...

Arent they aware off...
the purposedly delayed rehabilation of Tamils to their own land,
even when the war is over,
resembles the government cruel intention...
to cause more injuries and sufferings
in a over crowded concentration camps

they are very well aware that the Sri Lankan Government is in the move
wiping off every possible evidences and witnesses for their ruthless act...

They are aware..
that the future of the refugees
are not as promised by the government..,
because the past answers it..

They are aware ,
that the democracy in Sri Lanka has been misused,
as the constitutional changes increased the Sinhala representation
in the parliment three fold...
'one-man-one-vote' used,

They are aware ,
of the pain and the demand of the Tamil Diaspora
for separate state solution and its justifications..

Yes they are....
but they have been silenced..
some have been brainwashed by the government's
'what-its-want-us-to-see-and-hear,'
some chose to be quiet as they fear for their own country
( u-predict-who-are-they) in future,
some even reasoned that the situation in Sri Lanka has not threatened the international peace..

the Secretary General Ban who told the world ..
that he was appalled by the killings of civilians in the war during his recent visit...
now seems to distance himself and failed to press for a international inquiry...
the U.N spokeman Gordon Weiss, who told ' a blood bath has become reality,'
was silenced too...

I am not here to accuse UN ,
as being useless, or slacking, or hopeless....
which in fact I feel I dont have to..

because the time will answer...
whether the minorities are liberated from terrorism..
or,
the minorities are led into another form of terrorism...

but,
I feel obliged to whatever had happened in Sri Lanka...
as my country , Malaysia
is one of the member in UN Human Rights Council
among the 29 to pass the resolution..
and
I cant stop thinking...,
our country which said that it would not interfere in internal disputes earlier,
now being supportive for Sri Lanka,
neglecting the humanitarian crisis over there,
what would it have in its plan..
for us here ...

and
UN definitely has to face the world,
as people are watching from every corners,
using the lenses of internet,
it may not be able to refuse if it accused to be
a comfort blanket for most perverse an cruel tyrannies in the world..
in future..

Kebenaran Patut Dihiraukan

ITS 2009…!

Prabhakaran, the soul of Eelam

I saw this article wazz actually left as a comment in thirutamil.blogspot.com ,
so i thought of posting it here....
the original article was in tamil... (the one below)...
I find that my translation work was very tough...
but it has the core issue well stated....
(anyone who can give a better translation , please do so)
I've also posted a related video...

Since 18/5/2009 ...
the controversial issue....
Prabhakaran is alive or dead... ( LTTE Leader),
has stirred the whole world..

Indeed,
he had been
a strong hand ....
among ten others...
he caused a great deed,
but he's not the dealer....

the ultimate dealer was the God Himself....
deed was Prabhakaran's...
but the deed's result is His....
therefore , no one can say ....
that the deed has lost...
for a great deed's result...
will definitely result its own results....

therefore, do not worry, cry, or weakened....
no one should be remorseful....
but instead should rejoice again...

As...
Prabhakaran has turned every Sri Lankan Tamils...
to another Prabhakaran....
Every voice that utters...
" Eelam, our Home Land"
could be none other than his.....
for
his emotions ,his idealism
has propagated within us....
wheter alive or not....
Prabhakaran is worth of thousand strenghts......

Common tamil people calls him as their leader....
but
some even idealised him as an Angel
that their saviour ...
will placed in the great Heaven....

therefore, Global Tamils,
must continue this war of weapons....
transforming it into Gandhi's spiritual war....

Just like,

Eritrea which saw its independence from Ethiopia on 1993,
or
Kosovo which was kept under UN's administration from Serbia ,
or
Bosnio Herzegonia gained its independent administration...
or
Timor Leste was freed from Indonesia....

Tamil Eelam must be formed...
as the seperate state is the only solution....

Global Tamils must work truthfully in this matter...

Time has changed the situation...
the wind is blowing in our side...
the world has witnessed the rise of Tamils
against the unjust,
and preserved it in its memories....

in the mid of oppressions, and pressures,
it's time...
for the rise of Gandhism,
The Sri Lankan Tamils
must justify the seperate state solution in the international arena...

Om Sakthi!

I think when you force a minority to live under a brutal regime ; it continues a convulsed state of affairs. And with Sri Lanka in particular with which I'm familiar, we've had almost fifty years of oppressions of a Tamil minority at the hands of Sinhalese majority.

Worldwide Protests...

Dear Friends..
here are the glimpses of rallies conducted by Tamils around the world justifying Tamil Eelam and protesting against the Tamil Genocide by Sri Lankan Government...

Some were going on for days ... and some for weeks...
there were so many of them, so I only picked the major ones....

First ,
London.... on 11 April 2009, around 130 000 - 200 000 gathered...

( watch 3:01 ..)

Second ,
Geneva, Switzerland in UN Head Quarters.... on 20 Feb 2009, around 15 000 tp 20 000

(watch 0:30)

Third ,
Canada rallies conducted in several towns
Ottawa - ( 21 April 2009 , around 30 000)

(watch 1:00)

Toronto... blocking the Gardiner Highway because of the governments silence
on 10 May 2009 ( couldnt get the exact number of people.. watch the video theres few thousands)

Third,
USA ... White House ( started with 150 people and growed up to thousands)

(watch 0:06)

Fourth,
Australia , there has been numerous big ones... this one around 9000-10000 people

Fifth, France, 25 April 2009, around 11 000......

Sixth ,
Germany, 12 April 2009.... quite a massive one...

An there's still

The worldwide Tamils has rose against the discrimination.
The Tamil Eelam peoples are in the right path , and doing the right thing,
to protect and justify their rights.

The Sri Lankan Story

( I have edited the ending. Those who had read this before please overlook to the last part)

War and hatred have ruined it's land,
blood has stained it's soil too long...

23 years...
of unending warfare....
The land conflict between Tamils and Sinhaleses.

Buddha taught the world of Ahimsa ( non-injury )....

but what else an ill fate can fall upon a land,

( A pro-war monk struggling against the official)

( Fight between a pro -war monk, and anti-war monk)

where the very Buddhist monks preach war!

It's another Palestinian story,
Only that it's lesser known in Malaysia....
(among the non- Indians)

The Tamils were made refugees on their own land...

And people who tried to protect them were labeled as terrorists..

( LTTE - the Guardians of the Sri Lankan Tamils)

There were times of hope,
Chances for discussions to bring an end,

(former president Ranil Wickramasinnghe in a peace talk)

but all were loosen,
hopeless as the Sinhalese urged the war....

It seems the world
has yet to see another Hitler
filled by racial hatred and extreme steoreotype...
but only this time much cleverer
in hiding and falsifying the dreadful war..

(The current president Rajabhakse)

War without witnesses....,
A mass genocide conducted by the government
on it's own people...!

( slaughtered like animals)

(even foetus is not an exception)

the world wide protests
from Australia to Canada.....
world's countries condemns....
all have fallen into deaf ears.

Nothing has stopped these atrocities...

and the world greatest racial cleansing
after Hitler's time is still continuining....

history tells and proves...
every suppression and oppression
resulted in further boom.....

because every actions
do not tell its effects...
and
the endings have often been far greater
than imagined or sometime unimaginable....

They must remember....
for they could only wound
the bodies...
destroy their home and land...
and claim their's own

but not the
souls.... the spirits...
of the people ruined and betrayed....

the Sun had witnessed the truth for so long...
the soil had beared every massacres unconditionally,
the wind had carried the dust since beginning,
the water had stained by the dirts for ages...

who might know
that the same damages and defects
could be undone to Sri Lanka
by the nature's disastrous forces
in future...

but for now
we ,the international community..
must come forward...
it's time..

there was never a rule..
that the suffering of Palestine could only be understood
by another Moslem.

there was never a formulae
that the cry for humanity in Sri Lanka
could only be answered by another Tamil...

but also...
another Malayali, Tulu, Telugu, Kanada, Oriya, Hindi, Marathi, Punjab, Rajasthani ...
another Chinese, Malay, Bumiputras or any other nations...

for what's going on in Sri Lanka
it's not the problem of the Tamils only..
but a crisis faced by humanity....

There must be a global understanding ...
that'll never conditioned by
human created borders of
caste,race,religion and language...

( an interview of Brian Seneviratna - cousin of the former
President of Sri Lanka who admits the racial disrimination -
a humanitarian)

Holding hands together,
under the flag of humanity..
let's cry for righteousness
echoing in every corners.

Awaiting -3

I see you in every flowers....

I feel you as as the chilly breeze sweep through my body.

I hear your whispers when the leaves brush against each other.

Too long you are hiding in them....
Please end this hide and seek....

You are refreshing
like the stream's water...
but too strong,
I am drowning as you are flooding me...

you are an agony
creeping in my every cells...
that I embrace and
never let go..
